When I went to see Egryn I had been troubled by hamstring pain for three months and been to see two physios and two sports massage therapists to no avail. Egryn asked what had been ailing me and then assessed my whole body and my whole functionality, rather than just going to work on the hamstring. He put the pieces of the puzzle together and found imbalances and tightness all over my body which he said could be leading to my issue. He gave no false hope, explained what the rationale of what he was doing as he went through, spent longer than he supposed to and told me the necessary stretches and exercises to do to reinforce his work. There was no push to come back for more treatment – he wasn’t out to take my wallet, he was out to treat my injury. There was immediate relief of tension stepping off the massage table, not just in my hamstring but all over my body, and since I have had no pain and the exercises and stretches he recommended have worked wonders.
